How to use the finder

Pick what you are shopping for, then narrow by the length of the space, who will use it, door swing and seat width. Every result links to a product page with the factory schematic, options and an itemized price request. If two tubs look close, open them in the side-by-side compare tool.

Measure first

  • Length: stud to stud or tile to tile along the long wall of the alcove.
  • Width: back wall to the front edge of the current tub or curb.
  • Door into the bathroom: the narrowest point the unit must pass through.
  • Seated hip width plus 2 inches for the seat.

Not sure which category?

  • Walk in tub: the bather can step over 3 to 7 inches and wants to soak.
  • Roll in or handicap shower: wheelchair, walker, caregiver assist, or nobody soaks.
  • Tub shower combo: one person soaks, another showers, same footprint.
  • Shower pan only: you have a contractor or tile plan; buy the base alone.
  • Accessories: cushions, risers and wall panel kits.

Or skip the filters: call 1-888-779-2284 and describe the bathroom. Two minutes, no sales visit.

Questions

Find the Right Walk In Tub, Roll In Shower or Handicap Shower in 10 Seconds FAQ

How do I find the right walk in tub size?

Measure the alcove length stud to stud, the width from the back wall to the front edge of the current tub, and the bathroom doorway. Then filter by size in the finder; most 60 inch alcoves take a 30 x 60 drop-in tub, small baths take 26 x 45 to 27 x 39 compact tubs.

Does the finder include roll in showers and handicap showers?

Yes. It covers every walk in tub, roll in shower, ADA transfer shower, tub shower combo, shower pan and accessory we sell, with filters for size, wheelchair use, seat width, door swing, brand and USA-made.

Which walk in tub is best for a wheelchair user?

Filter by "uses a wheelchair" and "outward door." Outward-swing transfer tubs like the Ella Transfer series let a chair pull alongside the seat. Many wheelchair users are better served by a roll in shower, which the finder also shows.

Can I compare two tubs?

Yes. Open any two results in the side-by-side compare tool to see dimensions, door swing, seat width and factory drawings together.
