For them we sell supply-only: the tub or shower ships to the address you give us, on a liftgate truck, with the installation manual, our phone number, and the full factory warranty. Hydro Dimensions goes one better and covers a self-installed tub with a one-year labor warranty; Ella built its whole business around dealers who never set foot in the customer's house.
What supply-only includes

- Installation manual, cut sheet and rough-in drawings
- Free technical support by phone for your installer, before and during the job
- The full manufacturer warranty when installed to specification
What your installer needs to know
- A walk in tub with a massage system needs a dedicated GFCI circuit; a soaker needs no electrical.
- Standard 1.5-inch drain and 1/2-inch supplies; Ella's 2-inch dual drain uses a standard trap.
- Level the tub on the adjustable feet, shim, and test-fill before closing the walls.
- Inspect the door seal and latch, then run a full fill-and-soak test with the door closed for 20 minutes before finishing.
- Bestbath pans need a bed of mortar or foam under the floor per the instructions; the warranty depends on it.
