"Walk in shower" covers everything from a tiled wet room to a prefabricated stall. For aging in place, the details that matter are the threshold height (under 1.5 inches, or zero), a seat, grab bars anchored in blocking, a handheld shower, and a floor you cannot slip on. Walk in shower options we install
- One-piece showers (60 x 30, 60 x 33, 60 x 36): seamless, no joints to leak, need a clear path in from the truck.
- Multi-piece showers: pan plus three wall panels, assembled in place; fits through any door and remodels around existing plumbing.
- Pan-only with tile or acrylic walls of your choosing.
- Corner and 36 x 36 transfer showers for small bathrooms.
What we add
A fold-up seat at 17 to 19 inches, two grab bars (or more), a Delta pressure-balance valve so the water cannot scald, a 60-inch slide bar with handheld, and a water dam or glass door depending on who uses the shower. Chromatherapy lighting and a heated seat are available if you want a spa feel.
